Between 1871 and 1885 Marianne Noth painted over 800 paintings while visiting 17 countries on 6 continents in 14 years. During her visit to South Africa, the flora inspired her to paint this Kloof.

We do not know where this is, but we can see this visual in numerous Kloofs we have explored. The calm in these spaces, with water trickling down moss covered rocks will always represent an piece of heaven to us.
